We normally meet at 0900 on the first Saturday of the month at the Sacramento Mountain Senior Center at 212 Glorieta Ave. in Cloudcroft. If the first weekend contains a holiday, the meeting may be moved to the second weekend.
Some have asked why we don't meet in the evening, because it would be easier for working people to attend the meetings. We understand the the difficulty of a weekend meeting, but evening meetings in an area where winter snows can be quite deep and where deer and elk gather on the roads after dark, most would agree a daytime meeting is safer. This is especially true when one considers the rural nature of our area, where there is very little traffic after the sun goes down.
